Pros

Friendly people and purposeful work. Good for people who want stability, routine, steady benefits.

Cons

The structure of the company is not built for promotions. Managers want to give more time to their team but are constrained and can not. Minimal opportunity for career and salary advancement unless you like lateral movement and incremental increase in salary. No clarity of expectations which causes job responsibilities to clash and conflict to emerge. Seniority is present. Minimal salary for lower level employee who seem to be asked to take on more and more work. Not very motivating for entry level employees to want to stay if their work and effort doesn't correlate with career growth at the company.
