      Pros

      Can be very flexible and value work/life balance. Decent benefits. Lots of time off.

      Cons

      Frequent layoffs, whole departments shut down. If you're not part of the core leadership group or family you're not valued and may get laid off at any tim, regardless of how long you've worked there.

      Pros

      FAC is a family. The work culture matches the mission to a T. The benefits are amazing, the flexibility (depending on the job and the requirements of the position) are bar none, and it is overall just a fantastic place to work.

      Cons

      It has the same cons as all non-profit work. Funding comes at the will of politicians and other people.
