Pros

- Remote anywhere - Asynchronous - Great colleagues - Great salary - C Level are the best I've ever worked for - Rewarding work and great management, you feel like you're contributing

Cons

- Async can be difficult at first but it's fine after some getting used too, otherwise, no negatives

Pros

Float is truly a shining example of a company that genuinely values the labour and time of its employees. They embrace a fully asynchronous remote model of working and absolutely manage to pull it off. The whole team is very friendly, and the management is solid, engaged, and trusting. Overall a fantastic place to work.

Cons

Fully asynchronous remote work has its own set of challenges and may not be for everyone – it requires a lot of adaptability.

Pros

- Annual international team meet up - Work environment offers considerable professional growth opportunities - Pays well

Cons

• Laid off ~25% of staff in May 2026 due to poor expense management. Leadership publicly acknowledged that costs outpaced revenue growth. In the weeks prior, the company was actively hiring, planning an international offsite and encouraging employees to book travel, and promoting multiple employees. • Product complexity creates uncertainty around long-term direction and viability • Product decisions are heavily based on what the CEO wants vs. what's recommended by team • Compensation structure has been revised and employee perks reduced
