Pros

Free parking..... The paychecks clear each period..... That's about it.

Cons

Wow. Where to start. This organization is a fire protection district and a 501c3 volunteer fire department pretending to be a unified organization. The volunteers recalled the district board a few years ago and placed their puppets in their positions. The district board just hired a completely unqualified volunteer to be the paid chief. Apparently rolling an engine in clear weather at low speed qualifies you to be chief. The chief was hired to be a puppet for the district board and the district board was put in place to be the puppets of the volunteer firefighters. The pay is mediocre at best. The organization intentionally pays below market even though the budget will support market level pay. 10% of this organization's annual budget goes right out the back door to fund the volunteer's pension. The volunteer pension is pretty fat, while the paid staff pension is worse than something you would get at McDonald's

Pros

Small company, customer service minded, bank holidays

Cons

They promote people because of family relationships not the ability to do the job. Many double standards.

Pros

Great team, great community, beautiful place to work.

Cons

Pay isn't competitive for the caliber of person the board and admin would like to attract.
