      It begins and ends with the product

      Pros

      Free lunch, good perks/benefits. Management seems to invest time and energy into process and growth. The cheerleader "everything is fabulous all the time" is both a great motivator and draining weakness of Entelo.

      Cons

      My time at Entelo was witness to a very harsh reality that things are not always as great as they seem. Customer-facing employees have some immense obstacles hindering their success due to the product still needing serious work. Honesty and transparency are driven forth aggressively, but my experience was a lot of tongue biting and insincere enthusiasm.

      Decent place for junior engineers, not so great for experienced engineers

      Pros

      + Laid back working environment. + Good work life balance. + For the most part, coworkers are great and easy to get along with. + Product is loved by recruiters in tech, at least in SF. Might be a big pro if you are a SDR.

      Cons

      + It was difficult trying to build new features in the existing codebase, due to the sheer amount of tech debt (monolith, bugs, often times questionable systems design) that gets de-prioritized relative to new product features. + Business goals sometimes seemed overambitious for the few number of engineers. + Product is targeted towards enterprises, meaning a lot of one-off feature requests. This is probably a pro if you are in sales. + It was a challenge to attract engineering talent, seemingly more so than other companies.

We're always trying to find the right balance as it pertains to how we approach product development and even though I believe it works well for the majority of our team, it's clear from your comments that we don't always hit the mark.       Best company I've ever worked for

      Pros

      -Great people: kind, talented, diverse. This is the #1 pro. -We have fun together while working hard. -Company is mission-driven, all about helping people. So, we have opportunities to volunteer, we donate to charities, and we help our customers make great hires. -Management really cares. They're open to feedback and ask us for feedback every week. -Great benefits (unlimited vacation, fully-paid medical, stipend toward classes, money toward gym membership, etc)

      Cons

      -It's a small company, so not everything has been figured out. Sometimes things break before they get better. -We're never able to look more than a quarter out, would be nice to have a view of 1-2 years down the line.

      I really appreciate this feedback. My sincere hope is that each of our employees will say the same thing that you did in the headline! I know that's unrealistic but it's what I/we strive for. And I totally agree with the need to be more long-term in our thinking at times. As we become more established, have a bigger capital base to work from, etc., you can bet that will happen. I'm thrilled to have you here at Entelo and couldn't be more excited about the opportunity in front of us these days!
