Pros
If you are serious professional person who can arrive on time to work and make the phone your friend then ooma is a great place. Every day there is some sort of snack brought in with free drinks, breakfast cereals,oatmeal,soups,.50 cent vending maxhine, and every Friday catered lunch. Be smart stay on the phone build a pipeline , stay on your follow ups and remember you are paid by how many users you sign up. Have mgmt explain in interview. If you are driven and understand commission you can make money. Your direct manager and Inbound and Outbound Directors are there to help you succeed. If you are taking job just for hourly then do yourself a favor stay home. This is sales ,sales, sales. The money is in the upside. Keep in mind no more working weekends and once you are FT the benefits are fantastic. I was at ooma over a year and the knowledge and information I gained propelled me to a great great job that's the reason I left otherwise I would have stayed. One piece of advice stay focused, constantly engaged with direct managers, and stay vocal. A good salesperson makes sure they stand out and are noticed. I find it funny the reviews I read from others since I was there to see them come and go you won't be successful if you are late everday, miss days of work, bring your personal problems to work. Be a professional and you will get paid.
Cons
Ok gave a glowing review but I will make sure I give the cons. For me I didn't see a career path outside of being an inside sales rep. I did create my own lane and had the support of the sales manager, inbound director and outbound director but I didn't do a good enough job making the VP of the business unit see my abilities. That's on me. I do think intro base salary is low.
