Pros
The benefits were nice, some companies have better but a lot of companies are worse.
Cons
Middle management needs to be evaluated based on how many employees they hire to fire. If a manager is unable to keep employees under them then the C Titles need to look at the manager and why they have a hire turn over rate. Also when there is a department with more than one manager and both of their styles are different. For instance Manager A will worry about the work their employee did as long as they got the work done on time or was vocal about the delay while Manager B will be worry about their employees just been seen doing work instead of actually doing work. For instance Manager A will allow remote work to their employees while Manager B will be like no you can’t work from home because I need you to be here because I do not understand the product so you need save face in meetings. Another con is not much growth from when you get hired unless you have Manager A because they will so their best to see you grow while Manager B will not not help you nor will they tell you how to get a raise or a title change. IE from a Junior to dropping the junior title.
