Pros
Its really a fun job. The students are great and the hours are not fixed, so it is flexible. I think they offer a great tutoring experience.
Cons
For me personally, the pay rate per hour was just too low. You have a few minutes before the session to run through the lesson and you have to think on your feet and be creative, so for the effort you put in, I just feel the pay is too low. A teaching degree costs a lot of money. Your rate also depends on what students rate you, and sometimes when you don't want to chat a lot, they give you a bad rating.
