Ive been working for over a year and this time last year the job was great. I'd book 10 lessons a day and EVERY single one would get booked. Classes sizes were 1-4 on average which is a good manageable size and now and again a class of 6. However this was an eternity ago....
Cons
LOADS! In the last few months everything has changed. I only receive an average of 1-3 lessons a day in peak times. When I do I get 6 students every time which is very hard going. Overall cons - Minimum hours available - Zero support from PMIT, Schedulers, Communication centre etc - Unwilling to accept that sometimes technology fails and its not the consultants fault - If you book a day of work and none of the lessons get scheduled you have to just sit around all day in case they decide to put you in a class last minute (You can't cancel lessons unless its 24 hours before) - You are extremely expendable - They keep recruiting teachers when theres no hours???? - Students can have bad connection and IT will not help
