Pros

Work from home, I can work evenings.

Cons

If you want to change your shift, it is nearly impossible. The shift isn't THAT flexible since you have to hit a number of points and are greedy. Your only point of contact is IT. They are not all friendly and when there are issues (which are most of the time), you need to stay passed your 45 mins. and finish teaching them. Schedulers are nasty, don't even bother with your inquiries. They only push teachers to do overtime. They brag about removing unfair ratings due to tech issues and it takes over a month for them to even open your requests. Very impersonal, very low pay, unfair bonus system and unprofessional schedulers and IT staff. In the training they speak of going to a department manager which ceases to exist. You are on your own with no guidance or support. Orders are barked at you and it is demotivating. The students in junior sessions are very annoying. They come in late and then rate you poorly for not extending the class just for them. This is a tiring awful experience. Opt to commute over doing this low wage nightmare. Their staff don't even know English nor write it.

Thanks for your feedback! We have actually modified our flexibility to: No minimum requirements of how many hours you have to teach, and No Limit! The points system is not only for your reference and not a requirement anymore. Per comment, all unfair ratings need to be reviewed in order for us to remove it, apologies if you feel that it took too long. We also provide free live orientations and training videos for you to enhance your knowledge in teaching Online with our clients. Thank you for your time and contribution while working with us. Your feedback will be our motivation to improve our consultant's teaching experience.

Pros

remote, pick your own shifts

Cons

terrible pay, unfair review system (a kid would rate you and if they didn’t want to take the class, they just gave you a bad rating)
