Pros
Easy to get hired, perfect temp job (they see you that way too).
Cons
Sweatshop conditions continue to exist behind the shiny, flashy lobby doors of iHeartClearChannel. Employees are expected to go above and beyond for managers who don't care about them, a company that blatantly undervalues them and for stagnant, dismal wages. The benefits are awful, if you get the chance to even use them without being reprimanded. Even the perks that used to come with working in media (free tickets to concerts and events, etc.) no longer exist. Highly talented and educated workers are treated like 5 year olds, quantity over quality is expected and rewarded, managers are disengaged yes-men who don't hide their lack of caring and are mostly underqualified. Nearly everyone working there is visibly miserable. The boys' club mentality that is alive and well doesn't help morale either. The resulting high turnover rate is openly attributed to all the reasons mentioned. So is the fact that if it weren't for recent grads star struck by the iHeart name, they'd never have enough workers. Everyone else is only there until they find something better. Again, openly talked about.
