Pros
* Constantly innovating in product - open to new ideas * Inclusive - most of the senior management are women, a refreshing change in management styles to previous roles. More conversational, more open, more friendly. * Autonomous - bias towards action * Supportive - Management wants you to succeed, and backs your play * Friendly team - friday teams catch-ups, gentle ribbing, and casual atmosphere * Hybrid role - WFH most days, with ~1 day a week in office (outside lockdowns) * Rewarding - everyone received a $200 gift card as a sign of appreciation for persevering through challenging conditions * Tools - need lots of software for this role, that has been hard to get approved elsewhere, wasn't any objection instead "if you need it, get it" * Convenience - free parking all day out front, close to Upfield and Craigeburn lines.
Cons
* Food desert - great mexican and cafe across the road, but otherwise a hike to more options (in Flemington) * Upfield - has a habit of being cancelled, and can mean an Uber home * Tech debt - one of the drawbacks of a mature business is some of the incumbent tech is aged and can add to the difficulty of maintaining/updating
