Pros

I have been at gpac for 6 years, joined right out of college so I know no other professional setting and am glad that I found gpac when I did: Compensation: I started at gpac after graduating a 2.8GPA college grad. So there is no reason based on my college performance that someone like myself should be in the position I am in of being financially free. Gpac' s compensation structure allows you to truly reap the benefits of the work you put in and truly can be something that is life changing. Again, a 2.8 GPA college grad was able to pay off my significant others PhD degree before she even graduated, pay off 2 cars, purchase a house, and allow the feeling of financial freedom. Flexibility: Even starting back in 2017 when gpac was more of an "office" setting, the flexibility was still present. Even more-so now with our remote work, the flexibility is there. Taking off a day here and there to be with family, take a family trip to hawaii, coaching baseball at the University I played, the examples are plenty. One misconception of this flexibility is that it is something that is "guaranteed" and not "earned". Flexibility at gpac is 100% an earned benefit but something that once you achieve, is highly unrivaled. Team atmosphere: I still work in gpac's Sioux Falls office which I love. The people in the office are fun to be around and makes coming to work enjoyable. Obviously enough to not work from home even though that is available. The team I am on also is very supportive, the coaches that I have had in my career are people that have seen me at the highest of high's and lowest of low's and they were always very supportive towards what they knew I wanted to accomplish at gpac.

Cons

Stress. This is a job where you bet on yourself and sometimes that can involve long hours/weekends and high stress. But I'm not sure of another high paying job that doesn't come with the stress of performing.

Pros

All training and equipment provided Full internal support from all departments Uncapped earning potential Remote work Encouraging culture (not stuffy, cooperate feel) fun, high energy, supportive

Cons

It's tough. It takes a lot of internal drive and commitment. This isn't something for the weak, or those who throw in the towel with things get hard. A lot of cold outreach is required to build your desk and network - that alone isn't for everyone, especially those looking for an "easy" button.
