Very unclear appraisal and promotion processes, these keep changing year to year and make less and less sense. It feels like this is done deliberately to make sure no one understands how appraisal is linked to promotion and what criteria is used to promote. In 2023 only senior staff were promoted.
Unstable contract renewals and career succession in general - some people are renewed, some are ditched, some get good contract after being in agency for short time, some can go on for years in contracts like FGIII and are not considered for anything better. It appears it depends how well connected you are to those making these decisions and not how well you perform.
New Agile ways of running the projects seem to be messy, no one knows who they report to, the workload in huge, people are expected to work excessive hours for months just to deliver something that agency should have delivered long time ago. Everyone is trying to prove something to the new ED.
