Pros

They've just moved into a new office The technology capabilities of the platform is great. A great client base of logos within the retail vertical. New innovative products being built regularly.

Cons

The commission structure is unrealistic with over 70% not making target. Extremely difficult to hit Quota and Target Highly competitive in a saturated market. Management is secretive and non transparent.

We are sorry you seem to have mixed opinions on our commercial organization and compensation structure. We are an ambitious company with demanding targets, with over 30 % year-on-year growth over the last few years, and this wouldn't be possible without the global majority of our sales talent nearly meeting or even exceeding the quota. Please also do take into consideration the fact, that we invest a lot of time and resources in sales enablement and provide any new joiner with an extensive onboarding & training period before a quota is assigned. As for internal communication improvement, we are also committed to elevate it with some initiatives such as company all-hands call and regional meetings/ town halls which are being rolled out this year. Pros

Nice colleagues to vent with about the nonsense that exists.

Cons

Most people don't actually work and B.S. through QBRs, revenue calls, etc. Leadership shows favoritism and success is 95% dependent upon accounts. Marketing is a JOKE! Companies still don't know who Emarsys is after years of wasted marketing dollars (talk to the CMO for two minutes and you'll immediately realize the problem). Very few knowledgeable solution experts, and several are just taking up space - literally a waste of resources (again, talk to their leader and you'll pinpoint the problem). The platform itself is limited and SAP is driving a wedge between the overall partnership. Very few shared accounts with broader SAP and resentment amongst revenue generating teams is the norm. Constant lies to cover up the writing on the wall. No direction from the top down - blind leading the blind.
