Pros

Generous commission structure: eXp Realty offers a competitive commission split (typically 80/20) with a $16,000 annual cap. After reaching the cap, agents keep 100% of their commissions for the rest of the year, minus a small transaction fee. No desk or franchise fees: Since the company is virtual, agents don’t have to worry about the overhead costs associated with traditional brokerages. Stock awards: Agents have the opportunity to earn eXp World Holdings stock (EXPI) in multiple ways—such as for their first transaction, when they cap, and when they attract new agents. This gives agents ownership in the company and aligns their success with eXp’s growth. Agent Equity Program: Agents can use a portion of their commission to purchase eXp stock at a discount.

Cons

Need for discipline: Since there’s no office environment, agents must be highly self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage their time effectively. Those who struggle with working independently or who need more direct supervision might find this challenging. Limited hands-on guidance: While eXp provides training and support, agents don’t have the benefit of a broker being physically present to answer questions or provide hands-on assistance, which can be difficult for newer agents.

Pros

Great company to work for. Remote work environment. Great commission split, low fees.

Cons

Nothing really, I had a great experience. If fully remote is not for you, I don’t recommend eXp.

Pros

The revenue share is great and makes it worthwhile

Cons

all calls to support are outsourced and are seldom able to be solved over the phone late response to emails in a business where time is money need to sign on to their virtual cloud world if you need some help in the field which can be inconvenient when you are actively showing houses has lost all sense of a small brokerage feel, especially when you need help or help navigating a transaction.
