Not the worst place to work, but they definitely don’t care about you - Manager eXp Realty Employee Review

Pros

Remote work, small scale “fun” benefits like Vitality, tech reimbursement, volunteer day off (hourly) or “unlimited” time off (salaried). Great, humble people for the most part, especially the ones that have been there the longest and chose to stick around,

Cons

Extremely high executive turnover so you never know when the next shoe will drop. If you want to categorize eXp as a cutting edge “tech” company/cloud brokerage then the pay is absolutely abysmal comparatively. Leadership (sr. Managers and above in my experience) do not care about staff, will not fight for pay increases, and have no problem slashing the workforce to make the company appear better on paper, leaving HUGE operational gaps and issues. The proprietary tech is awful, most departments are in varying stages of disarray, disorganization, or complete decay. There’s no way the current path is sustainable. Stock will never go back up, so stock options are worthless for the majority of staff hired in 2020-2021.

Pros

The revenue share is great and makes it worthwhile

Cons

all calls to support are outsourced and are seldom able to be solved over the phone late response to emails in a business where time is money need to sign on to their virtual cloud world if you need some help in the field which can be inconvenient when you are actively showing houses has lost all sense of a small brokerage feel, especially when you need help or help navigating a transaction.
