Pros

The people in Springville are good people, although most of them have now left the company due to being driven out by the unbelievably terrible upper management.

Cons

Dishonest, clueless, arrogant, abusive upper management has "led" the company to the brink of disaster. I have never worked anywhere where I had to keep a multi-page document of all the lies and spectacularly bad decisions just to catch the future revisionist history lies. Do not work for this company.

Pros

You work with friendly people and get exposed to both the airline and the movie studio industries, which are both unique and nuanced experiences you can learn a lot from.

Cons

It has been a struggle with new management to keep customers happy and maintain a positive working environment. A lot of blame is handed down and ultimatums that can't be met while feedback from the workers is often ignored or belittled by top management.

Pros

Company still has some positive reputation left. If a new owner were to purchase and offer effective leadership, the company may have a chance to survive. Many key employees have had resumes out for many months.

Cons

The company had a very promising future under the prior president who turned the company and key customers around. He kept all key customers, grew company's profitability and kept from going under, set up programs with top customers, and won many new customers after developing new technology. Many of his plans were developed by a group of employees, yet the new ownership would not listen to the ideas for change and growth despite 7 years of success! The prior president even developed the industry's first certified embedded system using portables in 90 days and under budget! Almost all of the new suggestions proved to be great and missed opportunities over time. Just research the new management and find out more yourself.

Since I acquired digEcor in 2013 it has undergone an extensive change in strategic direction. Traditionally a portable in-flight entertainment provider with a mixed history, the company today offers a full suite of cabin technology products which are certified and flying. We stand behind our legacy products but have brought new investment and new technologies to digEcor. Clearly not all have been happy with the change in strategy but the vast majority who are enjoy a happy and satisfying career with global opportunities and competitive remuneration.
