Pros
I had no retail experience prior before working here. Some girls will always be catty but I met great people from both sides: shoppers and coworkers. I got ton of Gratis and we also got half off makeup which saved me tons of cash! Goals would sometimes be a bit rediculous because of the location of the boutique. There wasn't much traffic but luckily management was pretty understandable and I was able to move up to sales associate to Key Holder in less than 6 months.
Cons
High goals for the amount of traffic in the area. Store ended up closing down after I left. Outside of that I only wish we as makeup artists were able to express ourselves more. Management was able to do this on special occasions and it actually began to pick up traffic.
