Pros
Awesome discount, free products every month, not as boring as normal retail, you get to do some real makeup artistry, don't have to rely on commission to make $ (though this may be a con for those who prefer commission-based work), a lot of the products are actually great quality and therefore easy to sell, I didn't feel like my manager was breathing down my neck about sales metrics
Cons
Almost no opportunities for promotion/growth, could probably provide more training and education so that clients don't accuse you of f***ing up their faces, scheduling is annoying (but no more annoying than any other retail job), both the locations in my city closed within six months of each other so I'm pretty sure the company isn't doing so hot
