Pros

Discount, team meetings/activities, free items, sweet & helpful co-workers

Cons

Many other retailers (Macy’s, Sephora and Ulta) sell the EXACT same items they sell in Bare Minerals boutiques so not many customers tend to stop by. At my location I got one 3 hour shift a week, so did basically all of the other ambassadors.. The most hours I ever saw anybody get scheduled was 6-10 hours, please keep in mind this was during the holiday season. My store was absolutely dead on Black Friday, they ended up sending basically everyone home not even half way into their shift. They also expect you to make hundreds of dollars worth of sales when literally ZERO customers have stepped foot in the boutique during your entire 3 hour shift.... I was hired as a permanent employee during the holiday season and left after approximately two months of only making $30 a week. This job was completely a waste of time for me. Spent my time getting ready to present myself appropriately for the job, wasted my time & gas getting to work just to stand around and blankly stare out into the crazy busy mall for $30 a week.... No thank you! Run the opposite way and find somewhere else to work!!!
