Pros

People generally think ZoomInfo is a solid brand and the only option for sales data. A good brand to have on your resume so you are able to get a better job. Still not worth working for the company.

Cons

I was a top performer for many years. I received praise from peers to the CEO himself. This year I was on vacation when I got a note from my Director saying I needed to take a call to discuss my merit raise. Being on PTO, I really didn't want to take a work meeting, but I had been told I was going to get a decent raise, so I was excited to find out. I got on the call early in the morning, holding my infant daughter because the rest of the house was sleeping. I see HR hop on first. My Director hops on a good 3 minutes late. Obviously I realize I'm being let go. My position is being eliminated. Have any questions? I got off the call. My baby is crying, I'm crying, totally blind-sighted. I learn my Director told my peers not to reach out to me as "emotions can be high." which I realize was a way to sweep my experience under the rug. The good ones did reach out to check on me. What happened? Why me? The only thing I could come up with was that a few weeks prior, I had met with HR about a sexual harassment concern of mine. I'm posting this because a job offer is a big decision. If you have options, consider what happened to me (and others) and the ZoomInfo culture before accepting anything.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While we're familiar with your situation, I'm sure you can understand that we can’t discuss individual personal or personnel matters in a public forum. We know that eliminating a position during a reduction in force is never easy for anyone, and it’s always hardest on the person directly impacted. Your role was one of several eliminated during that week. We provided severance and continued healthcare coverage for everyone affected. As you continue your job search, you will also have positive references from the team and clients. We try to ensure everyone has a positive experience at ZoomInfo and is supported even during and after the most difficult times, such as a role elimination. In some cases, we've even had employees ask to return after their role was eliminated because they had such a good experience with us. On your other point, all harassment claims are taken very seriously and investigated thoroughly. When appropriate, we also engage independent third-party investigators for complex cases. We encourage any employee with concerns to use our reporting channels so we can act quickly and fairly. We appreciate your contributions during your time at ZoomInfo and wish you the very best in your next role. --Chad Herring, Chief Human Resources Officer

Pros

Great place to work with a lot of forward thinking leaders to learn from. Really ahead of other companies on implementing AI in the business. Moves much faster with less bureaucracy than other similarly sized companies

Cons

Difficult macro environment for the company and industry

Pros

Good pay, good benefits and great office.

Cons

Poor hiring decisions, recent layoffs eliminated mostly remote employees because they are prioritizing in office employees, especially with recent investment in office. RIF was not at all based on performance which meant that some in office employees who don't know what they are doing got to keep their job. You have to suck up to management to get promoted and a lot of really good reps leave as a result of constant micro-management.
