As a sales leader here, I want to acknowledge that this job isn’t easy. We operate in a fast-paced environment, and we set a high bar. That’s intentional. We’re serious about performance, development, and building a team that wins together. But with that pace comes challenges, and your points about turnover, territory overlap, and prospecting are real things we’ve worked—and continue to work—hard to improve.
We’ve made meaningful progress, like tightening our sales motion, investing in tools that reduce friction in prospecting, and giving reps more structure around account ownership. And while multiple daily check-ins may feel like micromanagement, our intent is to support, not control, our reps, especially as we hire people at all stages of their sales careers. Feedback like yours helps us strike that balance more effectively.
I also want to call out what you said about pay and coworkers—thank you for that. We’ve got an incredible group of people here who show up, support each other, and bring a lot of energy to the work. We're building a culture that values grit and accountability, but also one that’s inclusive, respectful, and driven by shared success--not cliques or hierarchy.
Reps who thrive on proactivity and competition find ZoomInfo to be a great place to build their sales careers. That doesn’t mean it’s perfect, but it does mean there’s a ton of opportunity for those who want to seize it.
