Pros

The product is something that a lot of businesses need in order to drive growth within their own companies, which means it is an easy product to sell. People want to use the platform and usually see the value in it without having to do a hard sell. There is room for growth here. If you are willing to put your head down and grind, you will be able to move up fairly quickly but expect to succumb to the grind culture that they promote. Other companies love to see that you have worked at Zoominfo in the past because it shows them that you have what it takes to work hard. It is a great resume builder. PTO is flexible which means you won't run out of it, but be mindful that even if you take PTO you are still expected to hit your monthly quotas that month.

Cons

This company has an extremely high turnover, with both people being let go and quitting. They pick managers based on their performance, which means they may not possess the management skills required to manage a team. This leads to a lot of frustration when needing to ask a question. There is also a lot of movement of managers. You may come in to work one day and be put on a new team without a heads-up. There is a lack of stability and teams/ rules are constantly changing. They also put a lot on the manager's plates, making it hard for them to be able to attend the 1:1 they schedule with you or provide you with help. Teams are often large and because of this, you may have to fight for dial room with your colleagues. This position was originally a hybrid role with 1-2 days in the office max, but as time went on they started asking people to come in 3-4 days a week.

Pros

Get stuff done culture. Really increased the talent density over time. Good people who genuinely care. Forward thinking on AI - most companies are not there

Cons

Pace can cause whiplash - but a lot of it is market conditions and the need to adapt

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
