Pros

They teach you how to be a great salesman at the top of your experience. Training was on point even during the pandemic. There are many brilliant, helpful, and friendly people who work there. Expectations are made clear.

Cons

-Middle and senior management are nothing but bullies. -Daily verbal and emotional abuse-seriously taxing on mental health. -The obsession with winning and success prevents them from handling failure well. -Grind. Goodbye weekends! Work/life balance is a foreign concept. -Diversity- It's the PNW, so unfortunately this is common, but there are very few efforts made by HR or the company at large to engage with black / brown / trans communities. -Punitive environment, not supportive. -Bro culture 100% -TURN OVER-- so many of my previous colleagues there have either been abruptly laid off, fired, or quit.

Thank you for your feedback. We place a huge amount of emphasis on training in sales and throughout our organization. It’s critically important that, as the base of our sales organization, these individuals receive the gold standard in training. We’re pleased to hear you benefited from the experience, as well as the help and support of your colleagues. It is incumbent upon each ZoomInfo employee to embrace One Team One Dream, which means everyone is willing to lend a helping hand and push each other to Define New Possibles. We are working very hard to increase the diversity of our talent, and have made outreach to HBCUs a top recruiting priority over the past year. We also have a very active network of Employee Resource Groups that supports our Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. And it’s growing – last month we introduced a new ERG supporting Asian American & Pacific Islanders and this month we launched a new ERG to support overall wellness with an emphasis on mental health. We have several more events lined up for this month including an educational Juneteenth presentation and two separate Pride celebrations. Regarding turnover, we are pleased to report that our turnover is lower than the industry average. Thank you again for your perspectives, and we wish you luck in your next career move. - The ZoomInfo Employee Experience Team

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
