Pros

Trendy and fashion-forward clothes You learn a lot about the retail industry They tend to promote from within. 1 hour breaks when you work 9 hour shifts

Cons

Staff get paid minimum wage and they get WORKED. Not a good first job if you've never worked retail before. There's a lot to learn and management are impatient and don't train enough. Managers don't lead by example-- most of them just like to stand around and in front of the computer. HIgh turnover with staff. People don't tend to stay here for long. VERY INFLEXIBLE work schedule. There's no work/life balance. At all.

Pros

My coworkers and Managers felt like a family I felt supported and was able to make good connections At the time I was there my managers made it feel less daunting to ask questions or come to them if I had concerns about customers . I feel like if I stayed with Zara longer I would have been able to move within the company easily.

Cons

Air conditioning didn't work while I was there.
