Pros

I joined ZIRO back in November 2018 to work as Software Engineer and I have been thoroughly enjoying myself. With 50-70 employees overall, ZIRO is not a big organisation but we have created an environment that feels like working for over hundred along with companionship. - Work Culture & Environment: One of the strongest assets working at ZIRO is their work culture. Strong team dynamics among colleagues We have regular meetings with everyone on the team where communication is open and transparent so that we all know what each one of us are working ensuring maximum alignment. The environment is super inclusive and free minded where one can just be cool without judgement at all for stating your opinion. It is really apparent that management listens to us, and this makes everyone feel truly respected throughout the company. - Work-Life Balance: ZIRO offers a good work-life balance. The standard work hours are 9-to-5, and there is remote work option which is particularly helpful for employees with family or personal commitments. The flexibility allows for a better balance between personal and professional lives, making ZIRO a very accommodating place to work. - Decision Making: Decision-making is generally transparent, and management seeks input from various levels within the company. Open communication between employees and management helps to keep things fair and collaborative. - Leadership & Management: The leadership and management team at ZIRO is effective and supportive. They have a clear vision and strategy for the company, which they communicate well to the entire staff through regular "All-Hands" meetings and updates. This ensures that everyone knows ZIRO's goals and objectives. Management is approachable, available for mentoring, and open to feedback, making it easy to bring up ideas, suggestions, or any issues that arise. They are genuinely interested in employee growth and problem-solving, creating a supportive work environment. - Communication: ZIRO has well-established communication channels for different needs (HR, IT, etc.), making it easy for employees to know where to go for specific issues. - Job Satisfaction & Fulfilment: I find my work at ZIRO to be both meaningful and fulfilling. I feel that I’m contributing to something greater. I can see the tangible impact of my efforts with our clients, which is incredibly rewarding. Additionally, ZIRO has a strong culture of recognising and appreciating employees' contributions. Regular feedback and acknowledgement from both management and colleagues make me feel valued and appreciated. - Overall: ZIRO is a great place to work, with strong leadership, a genuine commitment to employee well-being and development. The work is fulfilling, and there’s a good balance between personal and professional life. Management works hard to maintain fairness and transparency. I would highly recommend ZIRO to anyone looking for a collaborative, flexible, and fulfilling workplace.

Cons

While ZIRO offers many positive aspects, there are certain areas that could benefit from further development. As with any organisation, there are occasional challenges that arise, which may affect the overall employee experience. These areas present opportunities for growth and improvement, ensuring that the company continues to evolve and adapt to the needs of its employees and the industry. With a proactive approach to addressing these aspects, ZIRO has the potential to enhance its workplace environment even further.

Pros

Really poor leadership and product market fit. Like throwing spaghetti at the wall, then blaming the sales rep why it didn't stick.

Cons

Not all companies that offer UCaaS and CCaaS services are successful. There could be several reasons why a company may not be doing well in this industry, including: Lack of differentiation: There are many companies offering UCaaS and CCaaS services, which means that competition is fierce. If a company doesn't differentiate itself from its competitors, it will struggle to stand out in the market. Poor marketing strategy: Even if a company has a unique selling proposition, it won't matter if they aren't able to effectively communicate it to potential customers. A poor marketing strategy can lead to a lack of awareness and interest in the company's offerings. Inadequate infrastructure: UCaaS and CCaaS services require a robust infrastructure to ensure reliable and high-quality communication. If a company doesn't invest in the necessary infrastructure, their services may be unreliable, leading to customer dissatisfaction. Ineffective pricing strategy: Pricing is a critical factor in the success of any business. If a company prices its services too high, it may be difficult to attract customers. On the other hand, if they price their services too low, they may struggle to generate sufficient revenue to sustain their business. Lack of customer support: Communication is essential to any business, and customers expect reliable support when they encounter issues. If a company doesn't offer adequate customer support, customers may become frustrated and seek alternative solutions. or maybe they just don't get it?
