Pros

Yoobic is full of some smart, kind and genuine people. This is what makes people stick around.

Cons

Yoobic was once a great company to work for and was making strong progress but you can sense the urgency and panic with sales not being where it should be and the knock on effect of previous poor decisions. I cannot count the number of times we’ve had changes to leadership with each new leader being placed as the change we need to get to the next level only for them to leave when they realise they joined a sinking ship. People and culture has taken a dramatic turn for the worst. What was once a strength of yoobic thanks to the empathetic people team who took effort to deeply understand what was going on. It is now as if the team have used a textbook on HR at start ups without any understanding of what used to make yoobic great and the problems we all face. Employees can’t get answers to simple questions, have nobody they trust to talk to and managers are confused by new processes. People are leaving or actively looking to leave People are stressed and overworked People are tired of false promises for change and no action But instead we have promise of changes that don’t scratch the surface and what employees really want is more respect, better workload management and more resources.

Cons

Leadership is very involved so if that isnt for you sometimes its not the right fit.

Pros

The people who work here are kind, intelligent, and hardworking. Many team members care about doing a good job.

Cons

mployees are often given a full workload quickly with minimal guidance, and support from management can feel inconsistent. Workloads across teams seem heavy, and it’s common to hear about employees working late nights or weekends, which makes maintaining work-life balance difficult. Career growth opportunities are also not always clearly defined. Leadership communication can feel disorganized at times, and there appears to be limited openness to pushback or constructive feedback. This can contribute to low morale across teams. Additionally, some employees may find leadership involvement in day-to-day matters to feel overly intrusive or occasionally unprofessional.
