- Your experience is not uniform within the company, heavily depends on which product team you are working for and the manager you are working for... while it can be great, it can be challenging
- Not a lot of growth opportunities. Growth is very slow and linear. Yardi is privately held with little to no investment so it does not answer to investors. While it is a growing company every year, the growth does not justify a lot of chances for leveling up in the company
- You work in a silo... especially in a hybrid work environment, as a TAM, you will almost never interact much with people outside of the product/suite of products you are working on... it's very hard to feel connected to the overall company
- Initial onboarding as a new hire was very difficult as there was not really any formal training. I sort of just had to be a self-starter and learn the product to a lot of my own trial and error. While this can be good for some, it is difficult to gain your own footing in the firm
