Pros

Easy to land the job. Very laid-back and casual workplace. Most people are really nice, though there are a few bad apples. You gain SQL and project management/consulting experience which is invaluable for your next job.

Cons

They hire basically everyone that interviews, also very hard to get fired, hence there are some people who have no business working in tech. Repetitious job and limited career opportunities; only those who are completely complacent in life stay longer than a couple years, unless you receive the perks of being a manager's friend. Terrible pay considering the industry and location. Please don't give me that "benchmark" line, we all know it's bs. Nepotism.

We appreciate your positive comments, especially since you are no longer with us. But we need to point out a few things that are inconsistent with the majority of our reviews. First, we absolutely do focus on internal reviews and surveys, which are remarkably similar (more than 80% positive) to Glassdoor score (4.1 out of 5). Second, we hire only people who are qualified for the jobs we post. While we consider ourselves to be family-oriented, no one in this company has ever been hired solely on that basis. We have many couples working here, brothers, sisters, even parents and their children. But everyone hired here goes through the same screening process and is hired based on merit, not on contacts. And if the pay was “terrible,” and the job so repetitious, would we have over 700 employees (10%) that have been with Yardi for 10+ years? Finally, the ”person responding to these reviews” did not write this one, but we think she’s doing a terrific job. We wish you the best of luck in your new position.

Pros

Some team members are genuinely supportive and easy to collaborate with, though the overall experience can vary depending on the person.

Cons

Training has been the most inconsistent I’ve experienced in a corporate environment. Expectations are high, but the role itself changes frequently, often without clear communication or proper support. A recent reorganization shifted responsibilities and workloads, and it felt like it was used to delay or avoid well‑deserved raises and promotions across the team. Leadership has also increased micromanagement and plans to move toward a mandatory 2‑day in‑office schedule next year, which adds additional strain without improving collaboration.
