Pros

I recently completed an internship at XIRCLS - Decentralized, Collaborative Marketing Network. I always wondered how marketing would differ in a B2B company. Although I gained some theoretical knowledge on it in my university, I wanted to understand the mindset of a marketer while dealing with a B2B brand in today's dynamic marketing environment. And undoubtedly, XIRCLS provided me with the best work and learning environment, with a goal of mutual growth. I believe XIRCLS will soon result in a revolutionary change in how brands spend their marketing budgets. The concept of Collaborative Marketing excites me, and with growing integration between the marketing and tech industry, XIRCLS is already proving to be a game changer. I believe that more than an intern, I'm now a promoter and advocate of this brand, and the experience I've gained in this short tenure will prove to be a gem in my future endeavours. I'd like to thank Deepak Dhingra Sir and Uttarika Kumaran Ma'am for giving me this opportunity to work with them and valuing my inputs. I can't wait to see how XIRCLS changes the way brands look at marketing, globally.

Pros

•Receive assignments to improve your skills •Forced to teach self new features to complete tasks (good to grow personal skills)

Cons

•Horrible communication (meetings scheduled the day before to then be rescheduled the day of, which happened for EVERY meeting over my months working here) •No mentorship (there is speak of a support system in the first group meeting, but in reality there is nothing) •Unpaid (when there is a severe lack of organization being unpaid makes the experience more painful) •Huge time difference (this company is based in India, which causes issues for meeting scheduling based on your location) •One in a million (it is very clear that you are one of several interns and can be easily replaced) Overall, if you are looking for just something to put on your resume to say that you have an internship in a particular field, then this place is ok. I emphasize that a long term career at this place would be filled with frustration and not much value or learning. The skills I learned I taught myself and my one take away is that I learned how to adapt to remote work. Not great for short term, but horrid for long term. Look elsewhere and this place should be a last resort.
