Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your insights and want to address some of the concerns you’ve raised.
Firstly, we acknowledge the challenges associated with technical debt and the need for a more proactive approach towards long-term planning. We are actively working towards reducing technical debt and promoting a culture of strategic foresight to ensure sustainable growth and innovation. As part of this effort, we have implemented a transparent process to aggregate performance metrics and data, enabling everyone to have access to and make informed decisions based on that data. This commitment to transparency empowers our employees to understand their impact and contribute meaningfully to our collective success.
Regarding the issue of a monoculture in engineering, it’s important to note that while our development center originated in Russia, we have been steadily diversifying our talent pool over the past several years. Since 2019 we’ve significantly expanded our engineering department globally, including hiring engineers from all over Europe and, more recently, India. This deliberate effort to diversify our workforce aligns with our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and dynamic workplace. Furthermore, diversity and inclusion have always been at the forefront of our company’s values. While the actual proportion of diversity may vary from team to team due to historical reasons, we’re dedicated to promoting a culture of belonging where everyone’s unique perspectives are valued and respected.
If you have any other feedback or questions we will be glad to help you. Please, reach out to me or your former manager directly.
