Pros

The best thing about Wowcher is the people. There's some staff that have built their entire careers at Wowcher and others than bring experiences and fresh perspectives from outside, but the key similarity is that everyone is super nice, helpful and friendly. There is a lot of talent at Wowcher too and the HR team does a great job to bring fun and cool things into the office to brighten up everyone's day. The tech department are a talented and experienced bunch and the platform is largely up to date (save for some legacy systems but they are stable and well understood). Exec members are friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable about their respective areas and collaborate across departments. The two co-founders are very in touch with what is happening in and around the business and give a good amount of face time to those that need it.

Cons

Nothing you wouldn't expect from a privately owned start-up/scale-up.

Pros

Not many, use your short the time while there to practice and build on Excel and Salesforce knowledge. Some of the people are nice to work with.

Cons

If you get a role here as a recent graduate do not stop applying for other more serious roles. Aim to stay 3-6 months max. Career progression is almost non-existent. Pay is very low for London. Turnover is high. Systems are outdated making work longer rather than more efficient. Work is repetitive and unexciting. Company is struggling. Management look out for themselves. Praise received is very short lived but an error will always be held hanging over your head. Managers will micromanage and add additional workload for little to no monetary benefit.
