Pros

Great benefits, decent job security with steady work.

Cons

I work in the lab at LKV, and it's gradually become an absolute mess. It started out as a relaxed place where so long as you were diligent and didn't waste time, you were treated with respect as an employee and a person. Management has become dead-set on destroying that, going out of their way to insure they control their employees as much as possible to flex their egos. They constantly spout the core values, yet never adhere to them. The very rules they enforce on employees are then openly broken by management, or their favorites, with no punishment. They will find any excuse to keep an employee down and lower their raise to a few pennies. Some managers have even lied about their employees, intentionally preventing them from advancing their careers so said employees stay working in the lab under that manager's thumb. Even managers who have been previously written up and booted out of other departments get free reign here, able to throw as many people under the bus as they can for their own careers. There are a maximum of 2-3 decent, competent people in management. Everyone else is a bully going on a powertrip with no end in sight. I don't know if HQ will ever do anything about this situation at this point, but when they do it will be too little, too late. World Wide Technology is a great company as a whole, but this is somehow the worst of it all concentrated in one area.

Pros

Remote work was nice. Pay and benefits were decent.

Cons

- Toxic, toxic, toxic - Zero work life balance - Lots of back stabbing going on. Too many management changes. Everyone has to claw for things in a negative way to get anywhere. - Bro culture and a company founder who prays and preaches at company meetings? That should NEVER happen. - No inclusivity. They say DEI is important but when the leaders are praying and seemingly right wing that doesn't reflect. - "Great Place to Work" is a total scam. They basically make you do it, talk about it constantly, remind you to take the surveys, even say how to rate. It's disingenuous. - Over-worked and ran PM's too thin, then when you get too burned out to do your job effectively you're not supported. I was running multiple projects during the day and had another project that required 12 am, 2am meetings as it was an Asian customer. I had no balance, no sleep, zero support. Instead of mitigating it, they wrote me up because I forgot something trivial (so trivial I don't even remember what it was). I was so stressed my hair literally fell out! I was so grateful to have another company headhunt me so that I could quit. TOXIC!
