Pros

- Great culture where everyone is friendly and feels included. - Lots of opportunity for growth & advancement if you commit to working hard. - Flexibility with time off and schedule. - Casual work environment and dress code. - Standing desks available to anyone who would like one. - Office is located in an office building that has great amenities like a gym, salon, coffee shop, cafeteria and covered parking. - Fun office events like yearly company picnic, holiday party and happy hour's . - If you see a better way to do something you can bring it up and it is actually adopted if it makes sense unlike other companies where change is hard to implement. - Free lunch provided every Friday and treats provided at monthly all company meeting. - Summer hours opportunity. - Management is really easy to talk to. - Great amount of diversity for the tech industry.

Cons

- Company product and initiative advancement can take time because of limited resources. - If you don't work well independently in a casual setting this won't be the best fit for you. - The health benefits aren't the best. High deductible plans with no HSA program available through the company and no HSA match. No vision benefits. Very expensive to add dependents. - PTO accrues and isn't provided at the beginning of every year like some companies which makes it harder to have as much flexibility with planning vacations. - Unpaid maternity leave and minimal unpaid paternity leave.

Pros

What I love most about working for this company is how much they value their employees. Unlike other companies, management isn't breathing down your neck and keeping a pulse on your work at all times. I can't stress how great that is - simple trust and respect can go a long way! WolfNet also stresses how important it is to find candidates who will fit in with the company culturally. This results in working with people who you genuinely get along with and share values with across all departments. Huge plus!

Cons

Operations can be a bit antiquated at times (no docking stations/laptops) but I know there are efforts to change that. No vision included in insurance package which sucks. Salaries are also not where they should be for some departments as well.

Pros

Learn something new everyday, collaborative team mentality (if a coworker doesn't know the answer to your question, they know who can and will help you get it), monthly "State of the Pack" address where management shows transparency on any issues and current/upcoming events, free lunch on Fridays, company sponsored events (Happy Hours, Holiday Party, picnic). Pay is comparable with opportunities to prove yourself and grow with the company. Health and Dental coverage are great (I am a single individual with no children), plus a tiered PTO schedule (based on years with WolfNet), and flexibility within reason when "life happens". Management has open ears. They hear your concerns, your ideas, and your struggles and work with you to make sure you're taken care of. The company is a close-knit group of people who are incredibly easy to get a long with and like to work hard just as much as they like to have fun!

Cons

I can't say there is anything I can list as a "con" for WolfNet. Management is great at keeping the company as a whole happy. The only con I will list is regarding parking. The area is really up-and-coming, so parking rates are rising, however the building is on many bus lines, is a few minutes from the light rail, and a stones's throw from the Cedar Lake biking/running trail.
