- Poorly established responsibilities with client - Focused on "making the client happy"; on metrics such as ticket volume or time to resolve rather than providing actual tech solutions - I was the only team member in the state, working specifically for this client, yet was not involved in any decisions on how my work should be completed - They wanted consultant-level work for entry-level pay: "If you think that's the best way to do it, then you can set it up" - Allowed client to withhold pay, then purchase outside equipment which I had to service
