Pros

Flexible work environment, decent pay

Cons

Opportunities for advancement are rare and are given to people outside of the team when they occur. Most recently a managers position was given to another manager located in Mexico even though there are several people on the team who are more than qualified for the job and already located in Denver. The manager in Mexico has readily admitted that she is not familiar with the team and it’s processes and will need help getting up to speed. It is repeatedly shown that going above and beyond is not rewarded. Though everyone tries to put on a happy face, team morale has suffered greatly.

Pros

Western Union was a great place to grow if you are motivated. The company wants to do well and generally efforts are well focused.

Cons

Lots of turnover that hurts a company that does write it's how to do things down. Challenging market that takes market share consistently.
