Pros

Great brand name to work for. People are genuinely decent and there is great diversity.

Cons

Some of their wholly owned subsidiaries are not a priority and are run by managers that are junior in nature.

We appreciate you mentioning the people at WU as one of the "pros." Our extremely global workforce of talented people is one of our strongest selling points as an employer. Regarding your comments about subsidiaries, we are continually weighing risks and opportunities for the future of our business. We are also always looking for opportunities to set people up for success in their career development. While the process definitely isn't perfect, we try to provide growth/stretch opportunities for individuals, while also ensuring the amount of "stretch" is not too much.

Pros

Very exciting times at Western Union with the pending acquisition of Intermex and a lot of the announcements around wallets and digital assets

Cons

The international offices seem to do a good job around cultural and office events while the US seems to lack this in some areas.

Pros

Understand that traditional remittances are dying

Cons

Not enough resources available to drive transformation. Legacy tech. Outdated systems, processes. Too much work expected per employee.
