If you care about equity, equal chances, transparence, this place is not for you. First, the work as described in the job offer and during the inteview does not have anything to do with the reality (I guess it is on purpose, as the only way to attract people). They basically sell you the job you want even if it does not match with the reality As a result, there is a crazy high turnover. In a team of 7 people, I am the most "senior" after 6 months, as all my colleagues left. The wage is 20-30% lower than the market average but you know what, there is free breakfast (they probably think by adding a table football, they could even lower the wage by 10%). One of this company that truly believe they are a cool startup (after 13 years existence) and that building a strong culture will save them to offer decent wage. The worst point is transparency and equity. One are given full training and handover and others, in the same position, have to face everything by their own. Targets are meaningless and are given without explanation. Management is a disaster : different rules applied to people in a same team (for example, home office policy or bonus policy) Management has a new top priority every 2 hours. There is no clear direction. Micromanagement is their base, for example you are given task to do in a given time frame while it could be done at any time. They achieved to convert a job of market manager into the most stupid job ever.

Pros

Working at Weekendesk was an enriching experience. The company fosters a great work environment with supportive colleagues, strong leadership in Human Resources, and excellent opportunities for professional growth. I particularly appreciated the investment in new technologies and tools that made daily work more efficient and innovative. Overall, it was a place where collaboration and development were strongly encouraged.

Cons

While my overall experience was positive, one of the main challenges was the lack of transparency in decision-making. Top-level management often implemented major changes without consulting teams, leading to confusion and frequent reorganizations. This instability sometimes made it difficult to plan ahead and stay aligned with company goals. In addition, it's hard to progress in some positions.
