Pros

- Flexible PTO - Health insurance - 401k matching - Opportunity to work with an international team and share ideas

Cons

- High turnover, even among C-suite. (5 CMOs & 3 CROs just in the last 2 years.) - Constantly pivoting the entire company in new directions due to leadership impatience and desire to please shareholders, rather than relying on the experts they hired to do their jobs. - Gaslighting from HR regarding "competitive pay structure" when market research shows we're paid below average for our roles. - No pay increases in the last 3 years, not even to combat inflation. - Multiple rounds of layoffs with existing employees picking up the responsibilities for no increase in pay. - Clear discrimination against US-based employees due to cost of retention, with roles regularly transferring from the US to the EU. - No evident career growth process, as external hires are preferred.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and for your ongoing commitment to WebPros over the past several years. I want to acknowledge the frustration and fatigue in your message, and that much of what you’ve described reflects serious concerns we are actively working to address. We know that frequent leadership transitions and organizational change have created instability. We’ve been focused on strengthening alignment and continuity at the top, while also making leadership more accessible and accountable. Your points about compensation and workload are also heard. We completed a pay equity audit in 2024 to ensure fairness across roles and regions, and we’re continuing to evaluate how we can better support and recognize our teams. This includes exploring smarter resourcing decisions and addressing gaps created by organizational shifts. You’re absolutely right that engagement survey results offer valuable insights and we are using that data to guide our priorities. But we know data alone isn’t enough; we need to show meaningful action. Your feedback reinforces that urgency, and it’s a reminder of the incredible depth of knowledge and commitment within our teams. Thank you again for your honesty. We’re listening and we’re committed to doing better.

Pros

The procurement and operations work has genuine potential. With proper training, consistent processes, and supportive leadership, the role could be both engaging and impactful.

Cons

The biggest challenge at WebPros was the near-total absence of structured training and onboarding. New employees are handed materials that are contradictory and hard to follow, with no clear framework for understanding expectations or workflows. You're essentially left to piece things together on your own — and when team members are asked for guidance, you often get conflicting answers depending on who you ask. Management was extremely hands-on in terms of monitoring day-to-day work, but that oversight wasn't paired with actual coaching, clear direction, or consistent expectations — which is a frustrating combination. Micromanagement without mentorship doesn't set people up to grow or succeed. When performance issues came up, leadership pointed to individuals rather than looking at whether the training, processes, or communication structures were actually working. The root causes — unclear documentation, contradictory guidance, lack of foundational support — were never meaningfully addressed. If you value autonomy, professional development, or working within well-defined systems, this environment will feel difficult. The company has real work to do in building reliable processes and investing in its people before employees can reasonably be held to high performance standards.
