"Shift leads", the person you think that is at least an assistant manager, the one who does everything a manager does when the one "store manager" is not there don't make much more than that. Further, the "Shift Leads" used to be called assistant managers until some corporate bottom-line zealousness changed their title to shift lead so they could reduce their pay. Their duties are exactly the same however. And that's the con of employment at Walgreens. That cold, calculated, corporate greed that runs through the entire culture of Walgreens.
