Pros

- Staff was, for the most part, pretty friendly

Cons

- Way too understaffed. Was getting calls regularly to help fill in the schedule - Very demanding. I am a fast person. I work fast, I walk fast, I talk fast, etc. I had trouble completing my daily tasks most days. Once I completed the closing duties and my manager said I am the first person at that location to complete the entire list since she's worked there. - Management doesn't respect your needs. I have a medical condition that didn't matter to them. They also didn't abide by my doctor's note. I ended up needing an X-ray because of this. - A good amount of sexist behavior will be thrown at you if you're a young woman. And they tend to hire older staff members, so get ready for creepy flirting too. - Management is not respecting of your outside life. I had to come into work 2 days after finding out my cat died. Tears and all. At the register. My manager didn't even acknowledge it, just told me she would be very upset if I called out. I already contacted employee relations about all of this but I really just want to leave a review because people deserve to know what they are getting themselves into.

Pros

Can be a fun environment. All in whom your staff is. Operating photo was fun and building projects for the customers. Learning about pharmacy operations.

Cons

Work life balance and low pay for what is expected. Not having enough payroll to effectively run a store. My store ran FE on a 320 hour a week budget. That was barely enough to get buy and meet the expectations put out by the company. I was never able to keep a full leadership staff. When a leader called out, I had to stay. There were days I was called away from my own dinner table. SM's were forced to be in the pharmacy for more than half of their day regardless as to what is happening in the FE. I worked over 50 hours a week and barely got to spend time with my family. If I wasn't at the store I was getting a phone call and having to go back to the store.
