For the first time in my long career, I was bullied by a manager while I worked at Willis. The signs started very early on in my employment and continued for the years I was there. This individual also recruited others, including managers, to participate in the intimidation and bullying, which included regular obscene behavior including inappropriate hand gestures. I realized that in order to protect myself, I needed to videotape and record the physical and verbal behavior and I have this audiovisual record on file to this day. With evidence in hand, I contemplated going to the EEO, as I am certain that I had grounds for a lawsuit. Instead, I decided to leave Willis and I'm so glad that I did. My time at Willis was my most miserable point in my professional career.
