1. We have a very flat hierarchy structure. There isn't alot of promotion opportunity 2. We can get pretty busy sometimes (though this is also a pro in my opinion)

- Use your business acumen to develop solutions for companies who need custom software or workflow changes, you can make a large immediate impact. - There is no limit to how much you can learn and you have the ability to seek out new development patterns or libraries that will help build software for our clients. - The team is very supportive and someone will always help if you are stuck, but we also encourage you to learn by doing as it builds skills to find solutions. - Huge variety of projects, everything from agriculture to heavy manufacturing to health services and retail and image processing, Volano has that experience in house. - Very, very seldom do you find a company that truly values it's employees for more than the company value, Volano does that. - The relationships and work are rewarding.

- The work is demanding, there is pressure to make sure you are on budget and on time because that is the nature of the work. - Understanding the client and their intricacies can sometimes be difficult, since you are directly speaking to clients the relationships are very important and sometimes communication is not the easiest. - When you are working on new or different library solutions, sometimes you will need to be able to problem solve and build a solution that will meet requirements.
