Pros

there is absolutely nothing 'pro' about working here.

Cons

Management or leadership team has no idea how or what to build. Company is in constant pivot. They have changed the product multiple times but none has worked so far. Sales will sell features that do not exist, based on some whims or fancies and pass the ball to those who are already overworked. Expectation is that things will magically work. So called sales lead have no idea of the capabilities or limitations of the system but customers are promised the moon, which is why there is always a scramble to get things done, and that is usually borne by a few. The work culture is not good at all and work-place politics goes in overdrive each time the company lays off people which is once or twice a year. The number of people who've left or been laid off in the last two years is a good metric of the state of things as they exist here.

Pros

My interview process with Verix was exceptional. From start to finish, it was clear that this company is not only passionate about its mission but also deeply committed to creating a positive experience for candidates and employees alike. What stood out the most was the flexibility and attentiveness of the co-founders. They were incredibly accommodating, tailoring the process to ensure a seamless and personalized experience. Their genuine interest in understanding my background and aspirations made me feel valued, not just as a candidate but as a potential contributor to the Verix vision. Both co-founders bring impressive track records of building successful businesses, and their leadership is nothing short of inspiring; both are trailblazers in technology and truly entrepreneurial. Their expertise creates a dynamic duo that will drive Verix forward. Their ability to communicate their vision for the company was not only motivating but also gave me great confidence in the company’s future.

Cons

Like most early-stage startups, there is still a lot to be figured out. This can be a huge "pro" as you can contribute to shaping the company and make a meaningful impact on all aspects of the business. It can also be a "con" as not everything is figured out, which can lead to more "error" than "trial." The reality is that you have to determine if you are a "start up" person or not, and if you are flexible and entrepreneurial.
