Virginia Tech offers employees great benefits including a good retirement package, healthcare, flexible work schedule options, a wellness program, and more. The culture is also very welcoming and friendly. People generally have a lot of Hokie pride and are glad to be there.
Cons
It can be hard to move up for a lot of staff members - career mobility, especially within a single unit, can be limited.
