Pros

Brilliant and helpful colleagues make this one of the best places to work for as a fresher. The slope of your learning curve here knows bounds only set by you. There's literally nothing that the company leaves between you and your success in the job. Besides cutting edge computing and mobile equipment, ergonomic workspaces, subsidised lunch and transport, there's also work from home and flexible work hour facilities for everyone need be. These emphasize that Vestas really cares for the employee which eventually makes the employee reciprocate. It is astonishing to see how passionate everyone in the team is about work and it is infectious. It houses also amazing, empathetic leaders and managers and there's no problem of dreaded politics. Here, one would realise how small this world is when one starts collaborating seamlessly online and working with friendly and helpful Vestas colleagues from the other side of the Earth. But it's not all work and no play. Sponsored recreational events every weekend help unwind and better bond with colleagues. In Vestas, employee safety is first and they make sure there's absolutely no compromise on this regard thus making it really safe to say that one's career, growth and future is safe when one's here. It has been certified as "Great place to work" in an employee survey recently. So I'm pretty sure what I'm saying is the consensus.

Cons

Would have liked another PS4 in the recreation room in office 😛 Seriously nothing so far.

Pros

Vestas has been at the cutting edge of wind turbine technology for quite some time. They are industry leaders at the global level.

Cons

Culture has been eroding significantly over the past few years. Too many organizational changes, all with the focus on making the shareholders more 'happy,' to the detriment of the employees who have the actual ability to make the work happen. Profit is the only thing that matters at Vestas nowadays and, therefore, several regions that are seemingly less profitable than other are essentially left out to dry. There was always a huge amount of focus on the changing market characteristics, but nearly zero action to make internal changes, either to technology or commercial strategies, in order to improve competitiveness against other WTG OEMs.
