Pros

- Learning the cloud technology, Go Language - Living a Verizon benefits, 6% 401k 1-1 match, great health benefits - Great technologies, great hardware - Even after layoffs we receive 401k dividends share miraculously

Cons

The management illegally chose 100% Americans for a layoff, keeping 100% Indian staff in the office inside the USA This is defined by two words NEPOTISM and RACISM from the management. When laid off, we contacted the HR, they closed their eyes not to see, closed their ears not to hear and zipped their mouths not to talk... HR cannot step ahead in a corporate?! Now why the layoff? Because the project didn't work Why it didn't work? Because of corruption, choosing the wrong person in the wrong place, giving him the wrong title and responsibility, the project was born dead, no direction, not even a vision. 100 Million $ loss in 2 years is a miracle, if the Project Directors have brain inside their skull.

Pros

Compensation is competitive but you will work very hard for it. Culture is excellent and exhibited and practiced from the top down. Benefits are excellent and cost reasonable. 401k match and profit sharing. Lots of training and professional development opportunities. Can advance if you're willing to relocate.

Cons

Company is trying to transform into what it wants to be beyond a wireless carrier (cloud?, security?, telematics?, wholesaler?, etc) and is struggling with a vision, resources, and org structure to make it a reality. Several re-organizations over last few years so job security has frequently been a question. Often delayed response to competitors caused by management's concern that acting would result in not meeting Wall Street expectations. Not the "happiest" place to work because no result is ever good enough and successes aren't celebrated because the focus is always on the next weekly/monthly/quarterly goal.
