Pros

Fascinating work Great colleagues Very smart people

Cons

Since AIR was completely absorbed by Verisk our benefits have dwindled. AIR had no deductible, no coinsurance health insurance. The Verisk plans are high deductible with high out of pocket expenses. The company claims they pay 70% of health costs, but that’s not true. They pay 70% of the premium. The coverage is so bad that they really pay about 50% of costs. In addition, starting in 2026, they’ve reduced the amount of time off for employees who’ve been with the company > 7 yrs. We went from a total of 30 days of PTO (25 vacation, 5 sick) to 25 days, with no distinction between vacation and sick.

Greetings, thank you for your input. We appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear about your positive experience working with us, especially alongside colleagues who are experts in their field! We also understand that the recent updates to sick time and paid time off may feel impactful. These changes were communicated by leadership to help ensure all employees were aware, and we appreciate you sharing how they’ve resonated with you. If you have additional questions or would like to discuss total rewards further, our Benefits Team is available through the Employee Self Service portal. Thank you again for offering your perspective.

Pros

I have been a product manager at several companies, and it is genuinely one of the best environments I have worked in. Verisk provides a unique opportunity to work closely with customers, engineering, design, and leadership to solve meaningful problems and deliver products that create business value. Product managers are trusted to help shape strategy and influence key decisions. Teams collaborate effectively, and there is a shared commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for customers. Leadership is approachable and receptive to new ideas, creating an environment where innovation is encouraged.

Cons

Navigating insurance regulatory requirements and customer compliance can occasionally slow feature development and release timelines.
