Pros

The AEs are really great to work with as are folks who have been there long-term. It's a low maintenance platform that used to be fantastic -- no minimum writing quota, just hop on and write to make a few bucks. Could be a good starter role.

Cons

At this point, you will indeed only be making a few bucks. Verblio is rapidly dying as a platform, not just because of AI but things like poor client control leading to unreasonable requests (a 300-word blog with a 3,000 word brief on a high level topic? Check. This shouldn't be getting through to the job board.), management failing to build trust with the writer pool (we used to have writer shares that mysteriously vanished and seemingly never actually existed), a rapidly shrinking writer community and no community management whatsoever marked with growing dissatisfaction, and most importantly not nearly enough jobs/clients to go around. The only time management will pay attention to the writers is if you're lucky enough to get flagged by their wonky, unreliable "AI checker." They're afraid of change and somehow the new hires are significantly worse than the old ones. They also changed CEOs and it's been worse since then. I'd give 'em another few years tops. If you look on the writing forum, it's 90% unmoderated complaints which is kinda funny.
